At Learn and Love Preschool, we believe in fostering a love for learning through open-ended and hands-on play. Our child-directed approach allows each child to explore their unique interests and talents. We provide a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that encompasses the whole child. The curriculum is geared to support children’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and academic growth and development. It is created to entice the curious mind, promote a positive self-image, and form strong relationships.

We are a play-based program because children learn best when engaged with their peers and through hands-on, open-ended engagement with the materials and environment.  We believe in many early childhood philosophies and enjoy blending the best practices of Creative, Montessori, and Reggio curriculums. This will encourage children to have a blend of purposeful play and child directed activities.

Our goal is for children to learn independence, become critical thinkers and problem solvers, form positive relationships, and learn academic skills in order to be successful in kindergarten. In our program children’s natural creativity, wondrous curiosity, and individual spirit is encouraged, praised, and celebrated throughout the day. We see every child as unique and special in their own way. We celebrate diversity, accept all abilities, and believe in every form of love. Their voices are always heard and their character always seen.  ​Learn and Love Preschool is a place of acceptance and a lifetime of learning, where we learn to love everyone and love to learn everything.
